Zterm For Mac Catalina

ITerm2 is a replacement for Terminal and the successor to iTerm. It works on Macs with macOS 10.12 or newer. ITerm2 brings the terminal into the modern age with features you never knew you always wanted. ZTerm is a well known terminal emulation program thats been around for years, updated for Intel Macs. It supports VT100 emulation, which means it sorta kinda works with Meridian Mail (Function keys on a MacBook: fn + f-key). To configure ZTerm, open Settings Modem Preferences and select your USB-Serial device as the default modem (Serial Port).

You may wish to change this, however, since SimpleText cannot open files larger than 32KB, andother programs (BBEdit and WordPerfect, for example) have morefeatures.
